Corrosion round the panel door meant this panel had to be replaced. I shall attempt to find a replacement, but will probably cut a new panel without the door as a temporary measure.

Getting the panel out involved easing off the wheel-arch trim. I drilled out the 2 rivets holding it at each end, then clamped it with a wooden clamp which I was able to tap with a hammer to release the moulding at the front end, then insert a spanner into the gap and remove enough to free the panel.
