A closer look at what is clearly the central entrance! I thought this bus was built as a DM (single-entrance) from the start rather than a DMS (dual-door). Yet here is the central entrance step, complete with hole for light, flooring, and a lot of mud and dirt!

I am not yet sure what to do with the floor here, as it is very damp and merely harbouring moisture without having any useful function. The short vertical pillars will have to be removed or replaced, but the horizontal member is sound and can be hammerited.
