The compartment exposed here has a plywood floor which is, of course, in a bad state, being very wet. Some of the channel-shaped members need a total replacement. The foam whose job it is to prevent the panel vibrating against the metal sections holds about a pint of water - not a very clever piece of design, I would have thought...

Annoying, but far from terminal!
