CUTCSA 130. A Regal II with rear open platform and right hand drive. New to CUTCSA in 1938, with a wooden body made in Uruguay by Aguila, fleet number 491. It was renumbered 130 in 1954, and rebuilt with its wooden body in 1962 by CUTCSA, the biggest urban bus operator in Montevideo. It was replaced by a Leyland Worldmaster in 1971 and sold to an operator of country routes, close to Montevideo, C.O. del Este, fn.8. In 1985 it was sold to a single bus operator in the northern rural area of Uruguay, working in a route of 90 km. most of them unpaved, from Santa Clara to Paso de Pereira, close to the river Negro, where it worked until 1994. The ACLO is painted in the old CUTCSA livery, light gray with a red band written with "CUTCSA 130" in shadowed white. Owned by CETCU, a group of bus enthusiastics, it was restored by Cutcsa in 1997. On July 20th 1999 this bus was declared a "national historical monument" by the Uruguayan government. Now it represents Cutcsa history in events and parades. III (1954) Erhitran 1 Erhitran 1, a Regal III left hand drive, new to Empresa Lavalleja as number 10, in 1954, wooden body by Aguila with open rear platform, quite surely the last open platform built new in Uruguay. It operated the urban bus routes in the city of Minas until 1991. Then used as advertising bus and acquired by Erhitran a group of bus enthsiastics, restored in 1999 it began operating a historical tourist route in Montevideo on week ends until now. II (1950) ex Cita 8 ex CITA 8, a right hand drive Regal II, chasis number , new in 1950 to Cita, wooden body by Independencia. In the sixties sold to Castro and then to Don Pepe, two operators in San José a city 95 km. far from Montevideo, working in country routes until 1997. Now on sale in quite good condition. III (1947) ex Cita 75 ex CITA 75, a left hand drive Regal III with preselect gearbox, known in Uruguay as "Super Aclo". Wooden body by Independencia, new in 1947 to Flecha de Oro as fn. 15. In 1953 it went to Cita 75, almost in 1970 sold to Castro and then to Don Pepe. It worked until 1997, now on sale in quite good condition. Both buses are painted in orange with a blue band, the Castro livery, changing orange to yellow in the old Cita livery.   Independencia Sept 2005
