March 31st. Bright day, and very
pleasant if you keep moving. Bob the Blacksmith turned up on cue to straighten
out the offside uprights. He brought with him some straps which he fastened the
offside uprights to the nearside, making sure the body could not bulge out,
then partially "unwelded" the joints in centre and base of the
uprights, tightened the straps and - "job done!".
So now I can return to work on finishing off the offside steel.
