1st. I cut the third pillar and
"stretch" it.

6th August. Due to holidays, a family wedding, a heatwave, and a
busy time at work, I have shamefully neglected the bus recently. But I hope to
resume progress from today. Today's job is to add a lip to the steel mid-panel
and to prepare to add the strengthener which will give it greater rigidity.

August 6th. The 3rd window is fitted (for now) and the 4th pillar
fixed.

August 8th. I fit a hefty strengthener to the stress panel
midships.

August 12th. I use the old steel as a template

August 12th. The original wheel-arch is refitted

August 12th. A second strenghener is fixed temporarily in place

August 13th. Another good day! I added an 8' piece of steel angle to the
rear nearside corner.

August 13th. Having fitted the steel angle inside, I was able to
start tidying up the angle between the boot front and the rear panel.

August 17th. Amazingly, the 4th window fits first
time!

August 17th. In poor light, in between rain-showers I take
a shot of all 4 windows aligned.

Aughst 19th. Having checked the fit from all angles,
I finally fasten the 4th pillar to the stress panels.

Aughst 19th. Now that the 4th pillar is fixed I can tidy up the
wheel-arch.

August 26th. Exhaust refitted.

| August 28th. The heater is refixed so that the
engine could be started. I THEN WENT FOR A SHORT RUN!

August 29th. Moving the bus meant I could get to the underside of
the propshaft!

engine, I bought a pair of batteries.
