21st. After the Christmas/New Year
break, when I was away on family duty, and a long spell of very cold weather
when I did not feel very keen on climbing under a bus, work recommenced.
I positioned the rear side panel roughly in place.
21st. The panel forming the rear of the boot needs to be trimmed

Feb 4th. With the help of a bus-mate, the side panel is finally
fixed in place with a few bolts.
17th. Surprise, surprise! I visit Bob the blacksmith to complain
about his non-appearance, and he produces new steel bearers and 2 soldered
pillars!

18th. I grind off the bolt from the large hasps holding the
front bearer in place (the blacksmith having delivered the replacement steel).
The Bolt head is removed, but the shank stays obstinately in place. I may have
to drill it out.
18th. While I have the paint out I put another coat on the back of the
front bulk-head.
