Rear bulkhead/Front of Boot fixed in place

Back

Fixed!

The rear bulkhead of course will form the front of the boot.

Just to show I try to achieve something on the bus even in the worst weather, I braved the fog and near-freezing temperatures to drill 3 more holes in the bulkhead. I was pleasantly surprised to find my cordless drill and new drill bit made light work of it.

Now, as mentioned I can fit a hardwood "sleeve" in place to prevent the bolts shifting sideways under pressure.

Note the acro-prop which is keeping the weight of the rear of the body off the bearer while I adjust its position to make sure it is accurately centred.
