Rear Panel

Rear panel has cleaned nicely (with a lot of effort!). The Bluebird panel will be cleaned and needs only minor touching up. A colleague is cutting out stencils for new numberplate letters, using Corel Draw on his PC. The window rubbers will be soaked in hot water to clean and soften them, and I am cutting out the ash for the light-box which goes behind this panel.

I have also ordered the frame on which the panel will be hung.

  Numberplate

Numberplate before restoration starts. There is very thin (and worn!) black vinyl on the back, and white paint has been slapped on covering the gaps in the vinyl.
