Ready for the Welder!
After about 5 solid hours of grinding and metal-bashing, the first 2 bays are cleared for action. Pillars 2 and 3 are still fixed at the base, and will remain so until the moment we fit the new ones. Acrow props are in place.
And a lot of very rusty steel is ready for the skip (although quite a fair proportion of it fell down my neck as I bashed).
I also plan to remove the fuel tank soon to enable me to get at the chassis and clean it up. I reckon the fuel tank will come out quite easily now I can get at it (we will see!)
