Strengthener fitted in place

This hefty piece of steel stiffens the whole structure and binds the stress panel to the frame. The curved section indicates where I will cut out for the rear wheel arch.

I would have finished attaching the piece today, but the battery on the power drill gave out after an hour and the generator has taken to refusing to start...
