Old Pillars coming out

Bob has marked cutting lines on the old pillars and is removing them. While welding in the new pillars to the tops of the old, we came close to losing the bus altogether, as rotten timber within the roof caught fire, and smoke was seeping out from several crevices. We both had water squirters ready and managed to douse it before any real damage was caused, but I admit I sneaked back to the site that evening to check that the coach was still there...
